Students from IIM Bangalore braved sub-zero temperatures and icy winds on a Himalayan trek, where endurance, teamwork, and trust in the process defined their success.

This January, we welcomed participants from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kozhikode, marking a series of firsts, the first time IIM Kozhikode has come with us, and the first time we are conducting a CLP on our Central Indian treks rather than a Himalayan trek.

Students from the National University of Singapore’s Mountaineering Club returned to the Indian Himalayas with InSOUL after two treks — Bodpathri and Buran Ghati. What drew them back was a mix of safety and expert guidance, hearty vegetarian food, sustainable trekking practices, clean and comfortable camps, rich cultural exchanges, and the sheer wonder of exploring India’s stunning, lesser-known Himalayan landscapes.
