How Our Programmes Fulfill CAS Goals

Where Creativity, Activity, and Service Meet Adventure

An ideal introduction to camping for first-time students.
1
Here, Creativity is expressed through upcycling projects, journaling, skits on sustainability, outdoor cooking, and imaginative problem-solving.
2
Activity is experienced in preparing for the journey, trekking, navigating, setting up camps, and reflecting on strengths and challenges each day.
3
Service is practiced through our Green Trails initiative, trail clean-ups, team care, and engaging with local communities.
4
By weaving together these strands, our CAS Outdoor Experience enables students to meet all seven IB learning outcomes, helps them identify strengths, take on challenges, work collaboratively, engage with global issues, and reflect on the ethics of their actions.

It is CAS at its most authentic: lived, experienced, and transformative.

Our Methodology

Learning Rooted in Experience

At InSOUL, our programmes are rooted in the philosophy of experiential learning, a powerful shift away from traditional, teacher-led instruction toward learning through direct, real-world experience on treks.

Unlike conventional classrooms where knowledge is often passively received, our programmes are designed to actively involve participants in the learning process. In our context, this means trekking through remote trails, navigating unpredictable weather, working together as a team, and making decisions in the wilderness. These are deeply meaningful learning moments.
